Electric Wheelchair Rental Terms

Castle Mobility offers electric wheelchair rentals with flexible daily, weekly, and monthly rental plans. Rentals are designed for short-term and extended use, with a maximum rental period of two months.
Yes. A $150 refundable security deposit is required for all electric wheelchair rentals. A valid government-issued photo ID and a credit card in the renter’s name are required at the time of rental. The security deposit is subject to inspection after the wheelchair is returned and may be fully or partially refunded.
Normal wear and tear from proper use is acceptable. Damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, or improper handling may result in repair, cleaning, or replacement charges. Severe damage may require full wheelchair replacement at the customer’s expense.
Customers may cancel an electric wheelchair rental at any time. Any unused rental period will be refunded minus a $25 administrative cancellation fee. The administrative fee applies only to early cancellations.
Yes. In select cases, electric wheelchair rental payments may be applied toward the purchase of an electric wheelchair. Depending on the model, up to 50% or 70% of rental fees may be credited toward the final purchase price.
